Who We Are
SK Drafting & Design was created from a dream to reality. After graduating from the Architectural Technologies Building Sciences Co-operative Education Program from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2015, Samara has spent years honing her craft within structural engineering firms and local building supply companies. Following her dreams, she branched off on her own, creating SK Drafting & Design. With over 17 years of drafting experience, and a 3-year Architectural Technology Degree, Samara combines her skills and expertise to help you design your dream home, renovation, addition, or commercial project. Always going to the full extent of making sure her clients' needs and deadlines are met, SK Drafting & Design is the perfect choice to begin your construction projects!

Our Philosophy
For years, I believed that success was measured by the speed of the rush and the length of the workday. I lived in the black-and-white lines of the construction industry, where "more" was always better and "faster" was the only gear. But a flower cannot bloom in a hurricane, and a soul cannot rest in a house built from stress.​
The Shift
I have learned to live in the quiet. I’ve traded the 16-hour daily grind for the intentionality of a master craft. I realized that the homes we live in shouldn't just be structures; they should be sanctuaries that give us permission to breathe.
Our Craft
I don’t just draw blueprints; I design frequencies. Using a unique "Soul-to-Software" process—incorporating the vibrant, lived-in world of 3D modeling and aesthetic storytelling—I create spaces where the light hits just right, where the "sparkles in the snow" are the main event when you look out your kitchen window, and where the quiet beauty of intentional living is felt in every corner.

When you work with me, you aren't just getting technical data. You are getting a vision rooted in peace. I refuse to be "busy" so that I can be present with you and your project. We don't rush. We don't force. We create with colour, with heart, and with the unshakable strength of a tree that knows its roots, helping you truly feel at home before a single board is cut.
